Published: January 14, 2013
In an interview with MTNFootball.com, coach of the Nigeria Under 20s, John Obuh, says he is delighted with the progress made by two of his former charges - Kenneth Omeruo and Eddy Onazi - and his tipped more players that were in his stable to break into the full National Team.
This is what Obuh told the portal: ''I am very happy to see Kenneth (Omeruo) and Onazi moving up in their career. I know they will go places with their qualities and dedication when they played under me at U-17 and U-20.
''I wasn't surprised that they are Super Eagles players now because I expected it to happen. More of them will follow suit. I wish them well with Eagles in South Africa."
Omeruo, one of the rising stars of Nigeria football, and Lazio youngster Eddy Onazi are on the plane to South Africa to represent the country at the African Nations Cup which begins this weekend.
