Exclusive: Udo Fortune Set For Hapoel Nir Ramat Hasharon Debut
Published: January 15, 2013
Former top scorer in Liga Indonesia Premier Division, Udo Fortune impressed the management of Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Nir Ramat Hasharon after one week of trials.
Fortune's representative Nelson Okoro has informed this portal that the player could make his official debut this weekend against Hapoel Haifa, a game which corresponds to the 19th round of matches in the championship.
''Udo Fortune has signed a contract with Ramat Hasharon until the end of the season. There is an option to extend his stay if they are satisfied with his performance in the league. His international Transfer Certificate was sent to Israel on Friday evening, so it was too late to be considered for the Bnei Yehuda match the following day. But I have been told he will make his debut this weekend in an away match (with Hapoel Haifa, ed),'' Okoro told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
Fortune is a globetrotter in football terms having had spells with teams in Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
