According to leaks gathered by Sky Sports, Nigeria international Sammy Sodje's search for a club is about coming to an end. League One side Portsmouth are set to sign Sodje, a free agent, on a short-term contract.

The 33 - year - old defender has been without a club since last summer after his contract was not renewed on expiration by Notts County.

Sodje was linked with a move to Greece last October but the transfer did not materialize.

Porstmouth will be Sam Sodje's tenth club in England.
