Adigun Salami Still Struggling For Fitness
Published: January 25, 2013
Former FCM midfielder Adigun Salami has because of injuries still not played a major role in SøndejyskE. Yesterday he played 45 minutes in the test match against Holstein Kiel, but it is not evident that the Nigerian player is quite there yet.
''I train with the rest of the team one day and then takes a day in the strength room the next day. The plan is that I need to train more with and preferably close to 100 percent when we are at training camp in Turkey and train on real grass. I'm looking forward to that,'' Salami told bold.dk.
He added: ''It is difficult to predict when I can be back in top form. I prefer to take it one day at a time. It has been a tough period, and I'll have to take it easy. ''
24 - year - old Salami signed a three - year contract with SøndejyskE in the summer.
