Emenike Could Miss Resumption Of Russian Championship

Top scorer at the African Cup of Nations, Emmanuel Emenike has been examined by doctors at the training camp of Spartak Moscow in Marbella, Spain.
It would be recalled that Emenike got injured in the Super Eagles semi - final clash against Mali, which subsequently ruled him out of the final match with Burkina Faso.
The official website of the red and white informs that Emenike has damaged one of the muscles of the front of the thigh. Thus, the 25 - year - old, unfortunately, might be unavailable for selection when the Russian Premier League resumes on March 8.
Emmanuel Emenike is currently undergoing rehabilitation under the supervision of physical therapists. He will start individual training in the third winter collection of Spartak Moscow scheduled to begin on February 25.
Spartak Moscow doctor, Michael Vartapetova had taken Emenike to a local clinic in Spain for proper diagnosis of his injury.
