Victor Obinna Wants To Play In Champions League
Published: March 08, 2013
Nigeria international Victor Obinna has reiterated his desire to play in next season's Champions League.
''The latest trainings are very long. I played in different countries, but such long workouts never seen.
''This is very useful for the team to prepare for the championship. Bilic knows what he wants and he is happy with the team. We will try to climb the table. A place in the Champions League is in our power,'' says Obinna to sport-express.ru
The ex West Ham, Inter Milan striker has been ignored for selection by manager Stephen Keshi, who prefers Brown Ideye, Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike in his front-line.
All three forwards played in the current edition of the Champions League, but none of their teams progressed to the knockout stages.
