Published: March 19, 2013
Anthony Ujah is pleased with his return to goalscoring form. 22 - year - old Ujah has notched four goals in his last two matches for Cologne in the 2 Bundesliga.
In Cologne's away tie with Dynamo Dresden on Monday, the game was heading for a draw until the Nigerian striker scored a brace in a space of 8 minutes to hand the Billy goats a 2 - 0 victory.
''I'm glad for the victory even though we struggled in the first half, we kept fighting and we grabbed the 3 points at the end and I give God the glory I've scored twice in my second consecutive game.
''I will keep working hard to keep playing good,'' a delighted Anthony Ujah told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Anthony Ujah was sent on loan to Cologne this past summer due to his lack of first team opportunities at Mainz.
Right now, he is not thinking of where his future lies come season end but wants to help Cologne clinch promotion to Germany's top flight.
''At the moment I'm concentrating on helping this great club.
'' They gave me the opportunity to show myself in Germany so all I want now is pay them back with my performances and goals,'' said Ujah.
Cologne, fourth on the log, are only 1 point behind Kaiserslautern, who occupy the third position.
