Published: May 20, 2013
Last Wednesday, May 15, football expert Hassan Egilmez and chairman of Lagos based 36 Lion Academy, Gafar Liameed visited the training camp of the Flying Eagles in Elfershausen, Germany to boost the morale of the boys in camp.
Egilmez, a staunch supporter of Nigerian football even if he's Turkish, has tipped the Under 20 National Team to do well in next month's World Cup billed to be staged in Turkey.
He told allnigeriasoccer.com: ''The chairman of 36 Lion, Gafar Liameed and myself visited the camp of the Under 20 team.
''From what I saw, these boys have enormous quality and we are sure they will perform wonders in my homeland.
''The Chairman showed his love for Nigerian football by finding time to visit the next future stars.
''We are backing them to succeed and wish them luck during what promises to be a difficult tournament.''
The Flying Eagles will play their second test game against non-league Feldmoching on Monday afternoon.
