Carney Chukwuemeka's wait for his UEFA Champions League debut continues as he was an unused substitute in Chelsea's matchday four clash against AC Milan on Tuesday night.
The Graham Potter led side's 2-0 triumph at the San Siro ensured they recorded back-to-back victories over the Rossoneri.
Academy graduate, Mason Mount was fouled by Chelsea's former boy Fikayo Tomori, and it resulted in a spot kick.
Tomori got sent off, while Jorginho stepped up to convert the penalty in the 21st minute.
Eleven minutes before halftime, former Barcelona and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang extended Chelsea's lead after receiving a well placed pass from Mason Mount.
The second half resumed with the same pattern. Both teams attacked each other but none could score in the second period.
Chukwuemeka, who made his debut for Chelsea in their 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, is yet to feature in the UEFA Champions League.
The Super Eagles eligible midfielder has made the Blues' matchday squad for three UCL games.
