Former Liverpool winger Albert Riera has shared his thoughts on the potential attacking trio of Victor Osimhen, Mauro Icardi, and Alvaro Morata at Galatasaray, expressing confidence that the forwards will complement each other and create a formidable partnership.
Osimhen, who has been in stellar form since his loan move in the summer, has netted 17 goals and provided five assists in 22 matches across all competitions.
However, the Nigerian international faces competition for a starting role from Morata, who also joined Galatasaray during the same window.
Speaking on Radyospor via Habersarikirmizi, Riera praised all three strikers, describing them as exceptional players.
"Good players always work together. Alvaro Morata, Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen are exceptional players," he said.
On whether the three centre forwards can play together, the Spanish tactician believes that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk will find the right system to maximize the trio's potential on the pitch.
"I think they will communicate very well with each other on the field. Coach Okan Buruk will prefer the system where they can play most efficiently on the field," Riera added.
Riera, who likened their talent to a "cocktail" of top-tier talent, believes the trio will thrill the fans and earn the respect of their opponents.
"Really great center forwards came together at Galatasaray. I liken it to a cocktail. It has the best of everything.
"Morata, Icardi and Osimhen will create a unity that I am sure the opponents will respect. Not only Galatasaray fans, but everyone will enjoy the matches they will play together."
With Galatasaray competing for domestic and European success, the potential of fielding three elite strikers could be a game-changer for the Turkish giants.
