Agor Chukwudi 64th Minute Goal Gives Nigeria Victory Over Burundi
The Nigeria U20s made a winning start to the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying series, beating hosts Burundi 1-0 in Bujumbura on Saturday afternoon. <br /><br />The scoreboard was reading 0-0 when both teams headed into the interval, but it changed when the Flying Eagles grabbed the winning goal in the second half.<br /><br />Ex-Golden Eaglets star Agor Chukwudi broke the deadlock in the 64th minute of the contest at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium.<br /><br />The Emmanuel Amuneke-led side will face the Burundi U20s at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar in the return leg next month.<br /><br />Nigeria are the defending champions of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations after beating Senegal in the 2015 final.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley<br /><br />Photo Credit : fifa.com<br />
