City Striker Iheanacho, Troost-Ekong, Akpeyi Join Super Eagles In France; Omeruo Still Absent
<span>Haugesund defender William Troost-Ekong, Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho and Chippa United netminder Daniel Akpeyi are the latest players to arrive in the Super Eagles camp.<br /><br />Troost-Ekong was given special permission to arrive in camp on Thursday by the Nigeria Football Federation, as he was involved in an official match for his Norwegian side yesterday.<br /><br />According to the Nigerian Federation, Genk defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and Chelsea stopper Kenneth Omeruo are still being expected in camp twenty four hours before the national team</span><span>’s meeting with Mali in an international friendly.<br /><br />Omeruo has not arrived in Rouen as a result of a visa hitch and the young defender is now a doubt for the clash against the West Africans except he takes part in this evening</span><span>’s training session.<br /><br />Twenty players are expected to take part in training on Thursday evening.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : mcfc.co.uk<br /></span>
