Otseh-Taiwo is the cousin of Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo, an U20 World Cup winner with the Young Lions in 2017 and a player of interest to the Nigeria Football Federation and manager Gernot Rohr.
The 17-year-old Otseh-Taiwo has been on the books of Southampton since the age of eleven, progressing through the ranks before signing a scholarship in the summer of 2019.
Last season, he played 27 games combined for Southampton's U18 and U23 teams, including 12 appearances in the Premier League 2.
Otseh-Taiwo will be hoping to follow in to the footsteps of Nathan Tella by making his first team debut for Southampton in the coming years.
The 21-year-old Tella, who is on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation, featured 21 times for the first team, scoring his first senior goal in a 3-1 home win vs Fulham last month.
Kazeem Olaigbe and Oludare Olufunwa are the other Nigeria-eligible players retained by Southampton for 2021-2022, while ex-Arsenal schoolboy David Agbontohoma has been released.
