Several Nigeria-eligible forwards completed moves on Monday, February 2, headlined by former African Footballer of the Year Ademola Lookman.  

Atlético de Madrid and Atalanta have agreed on the transfer of Ademola Lookman, who has signed for the La Liga giants until 30 June 2030.

Winger Philip Otele has joined popular German club Hamburg on loan from FC Basel until the end of the season and will don the number 27 shirt. 

Still in Germany, FC Augsburg strengthened their squad on deadline day by signing 19-year-old Nigerian forward Uchenna Ogundu from Turkish top-flight side Alanyaspor on a long-term contract running until 30 June 2031.

A centre-forward by trade, Victor Orakpo, 20, has joined French Ligue 2 team AS Nancy Lorraine on loan from OGC Nice until the end of the season.

Italian Serie B club SS Juve Stabia 1907 have announced that an agreement has been reached with Venezia FC for the temporary acquisition of striker Alvin Okoro, who will remain with the Gialloblu until June 30, 2026.

Elsewhere, Spain U18 international centre-forward of Nigerian descent Sydney Osazuwa has joined Jong AZ Alkmaar on loan from Real Sociedad’s second team until the end of the season, with AZ securing an option to buy.
