Exclusive : Michael Babatunde Rejects Move To Raja Casablanca, Wants $500K Per Season

According to information gathered by <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>&rsquo;s editorial staff, Michael Babatunde rejected a move to Raja Casablanca in the winter transfer market after the Moroccan Botola Pro side were unable to meet his salary requirement.<br /><br />The Greens are in the market for an attacking midfielder and considered offering Babatunde a contract but the deal met a brick wall after the free agent and his intermediary Nureni Makanjuola demanded $500,000 per season from the club.<br /><br />Nureni Makanjuola had claimed that he already had an offer from an unnamed team in Europe and wanted Raja Casablanca to at least match their offer.<br /><br />Babatunde, who starred for Nigeria at the 2014 World Cup, is looking for a new club after parting company with Dnipro by mutual consent last month.<br /><br />Sunshine Stars striker Tunde Adeniji is another Nigerian player that has been linked with a move to Raja Casablanca in recent weeks.<br /><br />Photo Credit : fcdnipro.ua<br />
