Ex-Barcelona youth-team skipper Godswill Ekpolo has presumably agreed to extend his contract with EFL League One outfit Fleetwood Town.
The versatile defender was offered a new deal at the end of last season when the Fishermen announced their retained list.
Ekpolo has been pictured training with the first team during their pre-season training, and he could be in line to figure when they take on Scottish side Queen of the South in a friendly on Friday, July 7.
Over the course of last season, the Benin City-born defender
appeared seven times for Fleetwood Town in all competitions, logging 399
minutes.
Godswill Ekpolo spent 11 years with the youth teams of Barcelona before ending his association with the La Liga powerhouse in 2016.
