German club Hallescher FC have announced the signing of Marvin Ajani, formerly of <span class="st">Fortuna D&uuml;sseldorf , ahead of the upcoming season. <br /><br />The German-Nigerian, who arrives on a free transfer, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract which will keep him at the </span><span class="st"><span>Halle an der Saale-based club until the summer of 2018.<br /><br /></span>The defender played 33 games for the reserve team of </span><span class="st">Fortuna D&uuml;sseldorf over the course of last season and scored 4 goals (3 assists).<br /><br />Marvin Ajani represented the youth teams of Borussia M&ouml;nchengladbach, FC Wegberg-Beeck and Alemannia Mariadorf before signing a pro deal with Alemannia Aachen in 2012.<br /><br />The 22-year-old is eligible to wear the colours of Germany and Nigeria but has no international caps to his name.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : alemannia-aachen.de<br /></span>
