Through their official website, Napoli have confirmed that Victor Osimhen has not suffered an injury ahead of their Serie A clash with Fioretina at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Nigeria international felt some discomfort in his muscle during Wednesday's workout and was attended to by Napoli's medical team.
He underwent additional tests on Thursday morning which gave negative results and excluded injuries.
"The Nigerian forward underwent tests and it was determined that he hadn't suffered an injury," Napoli wrote on Osimhen.
"Today Osimhen followed a personalised schedule in training, covering gym and pitch work."
Napoli manager Spalletti will continue monitoring his number nine in the next training sessions before deciding whether or not to include him in the starting lineup for the visit of Fiorentina.
The 23-year-old only resumed training with the Blues this week because he was given some extra time off to sort out some personal issues after international duty with the Super Eagles.
Osimhen wasn't eligible to fielded for Napoli's last competitive match against Atalanta as a result of accumulated bookings.
