<b>Allnigeriasoccer.com </b>understands that FK Haugesund skipper William Troost-Ekong will begin training with the national team on Tuesday, October 4. <br /><br />The Dutch-born central defender departed Norway yesterday and should be in Nigeria today, based on his travel itinerary. <br /><br />Troost-Ekong will join the Super Eagles camp in good form, on the back of his man of the match performance in FK Haugesund&rsquo;s 1-1 draw with Sarpsborg in the Norwegian Tippeligaen on Sunday. <br /><br />The former Holland youth international is being tipped to continue his role in central defense in the World Cup qualifier against Zambia, especially with the absence of German-based stopper Leon Balogun. <br /><br />This season, Troost-Ekong has featured in 24 matches across all competitions, scoring three goals from his defensive position. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley.<br /><br /><br />
