Out-of-favour Celtic defender Efe Ambrose will not be signed by Hibernian on loan, amid speculations linking him with a shift to Easter Road before the close of the transfer window today.<br /><br />The Scottish Sun says there is no truth in reports linking manager Neil Lennon with the Nigeria international.<br /><br />Ambrose, who joined Celtic from Ashdod in 2012, would have reunited with the former Celtic coach if the transfer was not a rumour. <br /><br />The 28-year-old Ambrose has not made a competitive appearance for the Scottish champs for more than six months.<br /><br />His contract with Celtic will run out at the end of this season.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br />
