Izunna Uzochukwu has bid farewell to Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland after close to nine years spent at the MCH Arena.<br /><br />The 24 - year - old was on the bench on Sunday afternoon as The Wolves won their 22nd game of the season by beating S&oslash;nderjyskE 2 - 1, with goals from Martin Pusic and Marco Ure&ntilde;a.<br /><br />&ldquo;The plan is to go somewhere else, experience something new, have a new life and get a new team. A challenge and move on with it, &rdquo; said Uzochukwu to fcm.dk TV on Sunday after the league game.<br /><br />&ldquo;The best thing is to go somewhere else where I will be able to play as much as I want. I still have a lot to offer out there for people to see.&rdquo; <br /><br />The defensive midfielder added : &ldquo;Apart from the title I have developed on and off the pitch. As a human, there is a lot of things to improve in life. It&rsquo;s not about football, FCM have helped me a lot.<br /><br />&ldquo;Hopefully I&rsquo;ll be back. I have been here for almost nine years, you never can tell what will happen.&rdquo;<br /><br />Izunna Uzochukwu joined FCM from collaborative team FC Ebedei and played 150 league games for the club before announcing his departure.<br /><br /><br />
