Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that teenage attack-minded players Shola Shoretire and Amad Diallo are both in contention to be included in the matchday squad in Tuesday's evening Premier League clash against Leicester City at Old Trafford.
Three matches to the end of the season, the Red Devils are guaranteed a Champions League spot as they are twelve points ahead of fifth-placed West Ham United.
With the games coming thick and fast, the Norwegian football tactician has hinted at rotating the squad.
Nigeria-eligible winger Shoretire made his Premier League debut against Newcastle United on February 21 and has been named in three matchday squads without tasting action.
Speaking to reporters at the pre-match press conference, Solskjaer said : "They (Amad and Shoretire) are in contention, yeah, definitely and they are in the first team squad, they are training with us everyday, so I would think that some of the young boys will get an appearance definitely.
"But if it's coming on towards the end or if it's starting I don't know because I don't know how the players will be on Tuesday when we see them".
Shoretire has proved he has got something special
with his imperious displays in the Premier League 2, with a goal of
involvement of fifteen (10 goals, 5 assists) from twenty appearances.
