Millwall among clubs keeping tabs on former Dortmund forward who wants to play for Nigeria

Allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that dual-national forward Lukas Uchenna Uzoigwe Heavens is attracting interest from European clubs ahead of the reopening of the transfer window, with Championship promotion hopefuls Millwall among his admirers.

Born in Essen, Germany, on April 6, 2008, Heavens qualifies for both Nigeria and Germany but has committed his international future to the former, with his sights set on a youth team call-up.

Heavens began his career at VfL Bochum, where he was widely regarded as one of the standout talents of his generation.

He caught the eye of Borussia Dortmund, whose structured long-term vision persuaded him to join the Bundesliga giants in 2022

The talented attacker became a free agent after leaving VfB Waltrop in December and has been keeping fit with Schwarz-Weiß Essen in preparation for a summer transfer.

Millwall and Dutch Eredivisie side FC Volendam are keeping tabs on Heavens, and he has also been invited to join first-team training at Glacis United.

Heavens has been described by his minders as a modern day attacker whose profile blends pace, directness and relentless intensity.

Known for his blistering pace and effectiveness in one-on-one duels, Heavens also presses intelligently out of position, drawing comparisons with Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen.
