Spartak Moscow head coach Domenico Tedesco has revealed that he's not satisfied with the match fitness of Victor Moses.
Having missed pre-season training with the Muscovites and inactive before his loan move to the Russian Premier League, the former Nigeria international is not yet in tip-top condition.
For the first time since Moses's transfer to Spartak, he went the distance in the 1-1 draw with Dinamo Moscow on Saturday.
Tedesco's plan is to whip the Chelsea-owned winger into shape as the season progresses.
"Victor Moses is not yet at the level that I want to see him. We will need time to get the players back to the required level. This applies not only to Victor, but also to the others," Tedesco was quoted as saying by Sport Express.
Yes, I am satisfied with Kokorin's performance. We did not have the opportunity to involve Sobolev.
"Today we saw the strengths of Alexander. But Kokorin, like Moses, did not pass the winter training camp, and we need to get them back in shape."
Moses has scored once and provided an assist after five matches for Spartak Moscow who are third in the table with 29 points.
