The Nigeria Football Federation have announced a 25-player squad ahead of the Super Falcons' double-header friendly series against Cameroon in Yaoundé, as part of their preparations for the 2026 Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Head Coach Justin Madugu named the full roster ahead of the fixtures scheduled for February 28 and March 6, both taking place during the FIFA Women’s International Window.
The matches will serve as crucial build-up games for the ten-time African champions as they sharpen tactics, assess player fitness, and strengthen squad chemistry ahead of the continental showpiece.
The friendlies replace the previously planned WAFU B Four-Nation Tournament, which was cancelled, giving the technical crew a focused opportunity to work with the core group in a competitive setting.
The clashes against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses also renew one of African women’s football’s most storied rivalries, with both nations boasting strong pedigree on the continent.
The 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to run from March 17 to April 3 in Morocco.
The tournament carries added significance, as the four semi-finalists will secure automatic qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
