Nigeria U23s Target Ayo Obileye Departs Charlton Athletic
English League One club Charlton Athletic have parted company with Ayo Obileye, writes the official website of the Addicks.<br /><br />Charlton Athletic have confirmed a list of seven players that were told to seek pastures new in the upcoming season following the expiration of their contracts, including the Nigerian defender. <br /><br />The London-born Obileye joined the Addicks in 2014 and did not make an appearance for the first team in competitive fixtures during his time at The Valley.<br /><br />He enjoyed loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge , making 42 appearances in the league and scoring two goals.<br /><br />Obileye, who trained with the Nigeria U23s in April, began his career with the youth team of Leyton Orient before joining the academy teams of Chelsea and Sheffield Wednesday.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br />
