Nigeria underage international Yira Sor continued his fairytale Europa Conference League story by getting on the scoresheet and providing an assist for Slavia Prague in a six-goal thriller against Feyenoord Rotterdam at De Kuip on Thursday evening.
Since making his debut in the competition against Fenerbahce on February 17, the former Flying Eagles winger has either scored or assisted in each of his five games.
Peter Olayinka, wearing the captain's armband, netted in the 41st minute to make it 1-1 four minutes before halftime and Sor gave the Czech team the led midway through the second half.
With Slavia trailing 3-2, Sor played a key role in Slavia's equaliser in the fifth minute of stoppage time when he teed up Ibrahim Traoré, whose backheel went through the goalkeeper and a defender before ending up in the back of the net.
The Nigerian has been nominated alongside three other players who impressed in the first leg of the Conference League quarterfinals, namely Dimitri Payet (Marseille), Ulrik Saltnes (Bodo/Glimt) and Mauro Junior (PSV).
Only AS Roma forward Tammy Abraham (7) has scored more goals than Sor (6) in the Europa Conference League but the Slavia rising star has played four games less than the England international.
