English League One club Colchester United have announced the signing of ex Dartford striker Femi Akinwande following a successful trial.<br /><br />The 19 - year - old, who will remain at Colchester Community Stadium until the end of this season, will start with the Development Squad.<br /><br />A product of Millwall, Femi Akinwande was offered a contract after impressing in two trial matches for the U&rsquo;s.<br /><br />During his stint with Isthmian League Division One North club Maldon &amp; Tiptree, the Anglo - Nigerian scored 12 goals in 18 appearances.<br /><br />Midfielder Tosin Olufemi , who has appeared nine times in League One this term, is on the books of Colchester United.<br /><br />Photo Credit aylesburyunitedfc.co.uk<br /><br />
