Official : Michael Babatunde Leaves Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk By Mutual Consent
Ukrainian Premier League club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk have announced that they have parted company with Nigeria international Michael Babatunde by mutual consent.<br /><br />The attacking midfielder penned a one - year contract with Dnipro in August which would have kept him at the Dnipro-Arena until June 30, 2016 if both parties had honored the terms of the agreement.<br /><br />At the request of Michael Babatunde, Dnipro terminated his contract after he told the club that he wants to seek pastures new to enhance his chances of earning a recall to the Super Eagles.<br /><br />During the four months he was on the books of last season’s Europa League finalists, the 22 - year - old managed only 2 appearances in the Premier League and played an additional 3 games in the Cup, scoring 2 goals.<br /><br />The Heartland product began his career in Ukraine with FC Kryvbas in 2011 before transferring to FC Volyn Lutsk two years later.<br /><br />Photo Credit : fcdnipro.ua<br />
