With a statement on its official webpage, Danish second - tier outfit Lyngby BK has announced it has struck a deal to sign Oke Akpoveta, who was a free agent.<br /><br />Apart from a brief spell in Azerbaijani with Ravan, the attacker has been in Scandinavia for the past four years.<br /><br />To date, Oke Akpoveta has recorded 46 appearances for Danish teams, scoring his only goals ( 5 ) last season while wearing the jersey of Br&oslash;nsh&oslash;j.<br /><br />Retired Nigeria international Emeka Ezeugo played for Lyngby from 1990 - 1992 while ex Shooting Stars hero Bosun Ayeni was on the books of the Royal Blues from 1998 - 2002.<br /><br />Oke Akpoevta has signed a one - year contract with Lyngby BK.<br /><br /><br />
