Premier League giants Liverpool have bolstered their academy ranks with the signing of Anglo-Nigerian youngster Chidera Maduako ahead of the forthcoming season.
Maduako has joined the Anfield side from JNS Football, who have transferred several of their players to Premier League clubs this month.
JNS Football took to Instagram to confirm that Maduako's transfer to the Reds has been completed, wished him success for the future and backed him to develop in the next few seasons.
"Big shout out to our U8 baller Chedhera on signing his first academy forms with @liverpoolfc," they wrote.
"A huge congratulations to Chedhera and his family on your achievement. The hard work starts now".
Maduako was all smiles during the signing announcement as he posed with a Liverpool shirt.
2013 U17 World Cup winner Taiwo Awoniyi and Nigeria Football Federation target Sheyi Ojo are currently on the books of Liverpool but spent the whole of the 2020-2021 campaign on loan at Union Berlin and Cardiff City. respectively.
