EXCLUSIVE: Gambo Mohammed Turned Down 32 Million Naira Offer From Iranian Club
Nigeria international Gambo Mohammed turned down a move to Iranian Pro League side Zob Ahan Isfahan before agreeing to sign a three - year deal with Club Africain, allnigeriasoccer.com has been specially informed.

It was only a matter of time before Gambo announced his departure from Kano Pillars after his goals assisted the team win the domestic championship last season plus his selection in the Super Eagles Confederation Cup roster.

''Zob Ahan Isfahan were desperate to sign Gambo Mohammed after they watched his videos and studied his curriculum vitae.

'' A bid of US$150,000 was rejected by Kano Pillars. The club had offered Gambo a two - year contract, with annual wage of US$100,000(=N=32 million for two years, ed),'' the agent who brokered the deal that would have seen Gambo Mohammed  join Zob Ahan told allnigeriasoccer.com.

Zob Ahan, who are in search of offensive reinforcements in the summer transfer market, are exploring ways to sign another Nigerian striker before the close of the transfer window in Iran.
