Michael Eneramo Out For Five Weeks; Turkey Federation To Rule On Transfer
Ten days ago, Istanbul giants Besiktas and Michael Eneramo both reached an agreement in principle for the Nigeria striker to play for the club next season.

Before then the 27 - year - old had been holidaying in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, but had to cut short his summer vacation to return to Turkey to formalize the contract.

A traditional medical examination revealed the worst, that Eneramo had an irregular heartbeat and right knee meniscus injury.

It must be said that the proposed switch is now hanging in the balance, with the Turkey Football Federation set to rule in the coming days whether the transfer of the one time Esperance golden boy is valid on medical grounds.

Turkish website amkspor.com says Michael Eneramo had meniscectomy surgery on Saturday, and is expected to be out of action for at least five weeks if his rehabilitation goes according to plan.

The leadership of the Black Eagles has not abandoned the Super Eagle in his hour of need, as the surgery was done at Acibadem Hospital, which is sponsored by Besiktas.

Michael Eneramo will not be traveling to Linz, Austria for the start of BJK's pre - season training.
