Official : Ifeanyi Onyilo Signs Four - Year Red Star Belgrade Deal
Published: August 13, 2013Serbia vice - champions Red Star Belgrade have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Ifeanyi Onyilo from rivals FK Javor Ivanjica.
On Tuesday, August 13, the 22 - year - old penned a four - year contract with the 1991 European champions.
In his first words after his unveiling, Ifeanyi Onyilo said : '' Thank you so much to everyone at Red Star at the reception. Would like to thank also my previous club Javor which gave me a chance and allowed me to achieve all that I am today.
''I've come to a great club and I hope I can help the team to be even better.
''There was a chance for me to come in January, I did not, but here I'm here now and commit to the new obligations in Red Star.''
It should be noted that Ifeanyi Onyilo is being tipped to replace the Swedish - Nigerian attacker Abiola Dauda at Red Star Belgrade.
He will play with the number 99 jersey in the 2013 - 2014 campaign.
