Benitez, the new gaffer of Napoli, is interested in the 26 - year - old Chelsea ace.
But the stumbling block is the player's annual wage thought to be around 3 millions euros net.
Obi Mikel is not guaranteed a first team shirt at Chelsea , and won't mind ending his seven - year collaboration with the Londoners.
