EXCLUSIVE: Turkish Super League Club Slap In One Million Euros Bid For Raheem Lawal
Published: August 31, 2013Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that a Turkish Super League club have slapped in a bid worth one million euros for Mersin İdmanyurdu central midfielder Raheem Lawal.
However, the offer from the unnamed club did not tempt Mersin to release the former ECO FC starlet as he is valued in the region of 1.5 million euros.
The Super Eagle's future with Mersin İdmanyurdu has been covered in mist after the club lost their topflight status at the end of last season.
Mersin İdmanyurdu have been doing all they can to convince Raheem Lawal to remain, and even offered him the number 10 jersey before the start of the season.
Akhisar Belediyespor have an excellent relationship with the midfielder's manger and had previously courted him when the summer transfer market opened.
He has contractual obligations with Mersin until June 2016.
