Official : Peter Odemwingie Pens Two - Year Deal With Cardiff City
Published: September 03, 2013Cardiff City have completed the signing of Nigeria international Peter Odemwingie from West Brom on a two- year contract.
The 32 - year - old attacker had been declared surplus to requirement at the Baggies.
Cardiff saw off late competition from Stoke City to land the signature of Peter Odemwingie.
The attacker was delighted at his transfer after he completed the move just before the close of the summer transfer market and has promised the club goals.
He said on Twitter : '' Absolutely delighted to be joining Cardiff City FC! Can't wait to hear the famous Cardiff fans roar! I promise goals''
In 87 English Premier League appearances for West Brom, Peter Odemwingie netted 30 goals.
