Fenerbahce Worried About Form Of Emmanuel Emenike
Published: September 24, 2013After four games played for Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Super League, Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike has yet to open his goal account for the Istanbul giants.
In his last Turkish adventure, the 26 - year - old attacker netted 30 goals in 50 matches for Karabükspor. If not for injury, that tally of goals would have been surpassed.
Emenike was purchased by Fenerbahçe to be a focus of the attack, but his lack of goals after 344 minutes of game time is beginning to worry the technical bench led by Ersun Yanal.
According to reports in Turkey, the African Cup of Nations golden boot winner is not at the desired level, having failed to take part in pre-season training with the rest of his teammates.
To remedy this, manager Ersun Yanal plans to prepare a special program for Emmanuel Emenike as well as give him moral motivational talks.
