Raul Gutierrez, manager of the Mexico Under 17 National Team, has praised the Golden Eaglets after his team lost 3 - 0 in the final of the World Cup which came to a climax in Abu Dhabi on Friday evening.
“I am proud of this team - character and everything they did to get here. Nigeria is a great team, a great champion.
“It’s a final, that is goals. They made them at key moments and we failed to reverse the situation, is a well-deserved triumph of Nigeria,” Raul Gutierrez who led Mexico to win the tournament in 2011 said.
Kelechi Iheanacho netted 6 goals at the just concluded tournament in United Arab Emirates, with 5 of the strikes coming against the deposed champions.
