Official : Chuks Aneke Extends Crewe Alexandra Stay
Published: November 09, 2013Through a statement on its official website, Crewe Alexandra has announced that it has extended the agreement with Arsenal to have Anglo - Nigerian midfielder Chuks Aneke play on loan until the end of the 2013 - 2014 season.
Chuks Aneke, who can cover several roles in midfield and can be deployed as a false nine, initially joined the Railwaymen on loan in August and has so far scored 2 goals in 16 appearances for Steve Davis men.
The manager was delighted that the 20 - year - old England youth - teamer has extended his stay at the Alexandra Stadium.
Speaking to the official website, crewealex.net, Steve Davis stated : “He is an Arsenal player and they have always been extremely helpful to us.
“The letter and loan extension has come through so that is great news for us going forward.
“He has shown signs of that improvement in recent week and adds that extra bit of creativity to our play. He fits in nicely to the way we like to play.”
Chuks Aneke previously had loan spells with Stevenage and Preston North End.
