Obafemi Martins Angling For Galatasaray Move
Nigeria international Obafemi Martins could return to Europe in the January transfer window.

According to Italian transfer market website calciomercato.com, Martins is eyeing up a recall to the Super Eagles squad, which qualified for the mundial for the fifth time on Saturday.

And he believes that the national team selectors would look his way if he dumps Seattle Sounders for a team in Europe.

“I love the United States, its an extraordinary country, the MLS is a growing league and for me the past few months have been a lifetime experience.

“Seattle are all nice to me, especially the fans. I do not ever miss their support, but Im only 29 years old and here I feel a little out of the loop,” Martins told calciomercato.com.

The former Wolfsburg, Newcastle United and Inter Milan star continued : “I would like to return to Europe, Id like to try to play in Turkey win a place in the list of 23 of Nigeria for the World Cup, so I asked my agent Tekin Birinci to evaluate all the proposals.

“I miss playing in the Champions League, Id wear the shirt of Galatasaray and return to work with Mancini, I already had in the days of  Inter.

This season, Obafemi Martins has netted 8 times in 21 MLS matches.
