Chinedu Obasi Named In Champions League Roster

Schalke 04 landed in Bucharest on Monday for the showdown with Romania champions Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League.
For the first time in more than eight months, manager Jens Keller has named Chinedu Obasi in his provisional squad.
The Nigeria international was part of the 19 - man squad that traveled to the Romanian capital today.
“Chinedu is a class player. He has shown in recent workouts that he is in good condition to start playing,”skipper Benedikt Höwedes told the official website, schalke04.de.
Schalke 04 will qualify for the knock out round of the Champions League if they defeat Steaua on Tuesday and Basel fail to win at home to table toppers Chelsea.
