Official : David Alaba Extends Bayern Contract Until 2018
Published: December 02, 2013Bayern Munich has announced via its official website that the club has extended the contract of Austrian - Nigerian fullback David Alaba until the summer of 2018.
His old contract was set to expire in June 2015 and with other teams jostling for his signature, the leadership of the European champions has rewarded him with an extra three - year contract.
“He’s had a wonderful development on the field. The coach is very happy, and we are very satisfied.
“David has a great deal of credit for our success this year,”Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the official website.
21 - year - old David Alaba has been on the payroll of Bayern Munich since 2008.
