Austin Ejide Keeps Seventh Clean Sheet In Israel
Published: December 15, 2013Hapoel Beer Sheva goalkeeper Austin Ejide kept another clean sheet in the Israeli Premier League on Saturday after the Camels could only draw 0 - 0 with Hapoel Ra anana in front of 2, 500 spectators at the Arthur Vasermil Stadium .
It was the 7th game Austin Ejide did not concede a goal after 13 rounds of matches in the top division.
The Nigeria international proved invincible in the goalpost in earlier matches against Maccabi Petah Tikva, Ironi Ramat Hasharon, Bnei Sakhnin, Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem.
Ejide has kept the most clean sheets in Israel this season, ahead of Juan Pablo (Maccabi Tel Aviv) and Gal Nir (Hapoel Ra anana), who both did not concede in 6 games.
Hapoel Beer Sheva occupy the second position on the table with 28 points in their kitty.
