Chigozie Udoji Rules Out Return To Greece
Published: December 19, 2013Chigozie Udoji has reacted to reports linking him with a switch to Greece Super League side Platanias in the January transfer window.
Authoritative Greek website, gazzetta.gr writes on its website that the 27 - year - old midfielder could make a return to Platanias, whom he played for in the 2012 - 2013 season.
In a telephone conversation with allnigeriasoccer.com from Bulgaria, Udoji said : “I will never play for a Greek club again. I do not want to talk about football again this year. I am now with my family.”
Chigozie Udoji is being owed two months wages by Aris and the Nigerian claims he has the right to terminate his contract with the Thessaloniki based outfit because the laws in Greece are slightly different.
Fifa clearly states that a player can unilaterally cancel his deal if he does not get his entitlements for three months.
