Sunday Mba To Complete CA Bastia Switch This Week
Published: December 29, 2013Warri Wolves midfielder Sunday Mba has been authorized to leave the Super Eagles camp in Abuja by manager Stephen Keshi to embark on a trip to France to formalize terms with CA Bastia.
Unlike what happened in the summer transfer market where the transfer was cancelled at the last minute, all parties are believed to have agreed to the monetary aspects of the contract.
And that means the 25 - year - old will not participate in the CHAN championship scheduled to kick off on January 11 as it is reserved for only players plying their trade in the domestic championship.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the transfer is 85 % completed and if things go according to plan, Sunday Mba will sign the contract with CA Bastia on January 2, a day after the opening of the winter transfer market.
CA Bastia are last on the Ligue 2 table after 18 matches played in the second - tier.
