Scouts representing several European heavyweights were in attendance to witness the Champions League showdown between Olympiakos and Manchester United in Greece on Tuesday night.

In one of their famous nights, the Greece powerhouse defeated their British opponents 2 - 0 thanks to a 38th minute strike by Domínguez and another from Arsenal reject Joel Campbell 10 minutes after the restart.

Gazzetta.gr is reporting that spies of French, German, Italian and Spanish clubs were at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskáki to run the rule over some of the Olympiakos stars.

And one of the players they kept monitoring during the game was Michael Olaitan, who was featuring in his third Champions League match of this season.

It had earlier been reported that Valencia, Auxerre, Nice, Valenciennes and Genoa were exploring ways to sign the Nigerian striker in the summer transfer market.
