Luter Iyorhe Will Miss Enyimba Clash
Published: April 05, 2014FC Taraba striker Luter Iyorhe will miss Sunday’s home match to Enyimba FC after injuring his thigh during Friday’s training.
The 20-year-old forward will be missed by coach Ndubuisi Nduka as he has a knack for netting in crucial matches.
A statement from an official of the club read: “Medical tests undertaken in Jalingo show the forward has sustained bruising to his right thigh and left ankle.”
The former Lobi Stars attacker has scored two goals in 4 appearances for Taraba, who currently occupy sixth place in the 2013/2014 Globacom Nigeria Premier League season, since joining from Lobi this season.
Taraba United, whose Chairman is retired Nigeria international Tijani Babangida, has promised each of the players =N=40,000 (200 euros) for a win against the six - time Nigeria champions.
In normal conditions, the Jalingo based outfit credit the bank account of each player with the sum of =N=20,000 for a home win and away draw while they are paid =N=40,000 for an away victory.
