Hapoel Beer Sheva In Search Of Backup To Austin Ejide
Published: April 24, 2014According to reporting by one.co.il, Hapoel Beer Sheva are in the market for an established goalkeeper to act as backup to Austin Ejide in the 2014 - 2015 campaign.
While the Super Eagle custodian has performed above expectations this season, commitments with the Nigeria National Team this summer means he will miss a large chunk of pre - season training to take place in Poland.
Austin Ejide is certain to be named in Nigeria’s 23 - man World Cup roster so he will miss the Camels training camp which is scheduled to start at the end of June.
In the same vein, defending champions Nigeria are one of the teams expected to grace the next edition of the African Nations Cup, meaning he will be unavailable for selection for up to one month in 2015.
