The first few matches of the Norwegian Premier League is turning out as expected for two - time champions Molde.
Including this evening’s 2 - 0 win over IK Start in which Nigerian striker Daniel Chima registered his second goal of the season, Molde have won their last four last matches in the championship.
Interestingly, the 15 goals netted by manager Tor Skullerud’s charges have been scored by 8 different players including defenders and midfielders.
“It all began from pre - season,we had a good one and we were very determined not to let what happened at the beginning of last season repeat itself.
“ So everyone has to defend and everyone has to join the attack. I think that’s why we are solid... There’s no other way to begin the season than this, ” says Daniel Chima to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The former Lyn Oslo ace added , “Regarding the goals coming from different players and not one or two individuals, I will say it is because of great teamwork, believing in each other to be able to deliver when given the chance.”
Molde’s title credentials will be given a major test when they travel to face Rosenborg this coming Sunday.
